Soothing Hydra Solution Sheet Mask by Dr. Jart

Hey guys!!! Today I’m doing a hydrating sheet mask. I’m honestly over due for a relaxing mask. The mask I am doing today is by Dr. Jart. I got this mask from Sephora in March. This mask is to sooth dry skin and protect the moisture barrier. This mask is made of fine cellulose fiber, has a patented ingredient derived from plant glucose and xylitol, and has botanical extracts of Aloe Vera and Phytoncides. This mask is to stay on 10 to 20 minutes. Now that we’ve discussed what’s in the mask and what it does, let’s get to the good stuff!

Before masking, I washed my face with my trusty Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cleanser. With a completely dry and clean face, I applied the sheet mask. The mask pack was easy to open and the mask was easy to unfold. The mask feels cold on and fit my face well, there really wasn’t any fuss putting on the sheet and adjusting it. The mask has a smell reminiscent of an alcohol wipe, which I actually really like. I kept the mask on for 16 minutes. I patted my skin so it could soak in the essence that was on my face after removing the sheet mask. After the essence dried down I sprayed rose water (I use rose water as a toner) on my face & massaged my face with a jade roller. I then moisturized my face with Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer with SPF 30.

Over all, I enjoyed this mask. My skin feels refreshed and soft. I am quite pleased with the results, I definitely feel like the mask delivered on what it said it would do. I do recommend this if you want to give your skin a boost of hydration. If you want to know more about masking, check out this guide here on the blog [click here to see guide].
