Be My Honey Nourishing Honey Mask By Avatara

Hey guys!!! It’s been a while!! So much has been going on. Since my last plant update, I’ve gotten quite a few more plants. I’ve been busy with that and life in general. Today, I’m getting ready for an event, The Memorial that will be held virtually. Since that event is tonight and very significant and important to me, I decided to do a mask. The mask I’m doing is a honey sheet mask by Avatara that I got from Target last month [see Instagram post]. The sheet is made from Tencel fiber and the mask is free of parabens, phthalates, silicones, formaldehyde, fragrance, and its cruelty free. The mask is to stay on 10 to 20 minutes. Let’s get to the good stuff!!!

I washed my face with my fave, Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cleanser, using a powered facial cleansing brush [see Insta post]. Opening the package and applying the mask was fairly easy. The mask has a slight honey fragrance. I am happy to report there was no slippage, it did not slide off my face even though I moved around a bit with it on. I kept the mask on for about 20 minutes. After removing the mask, I gently patted my face to allow the remaining product to soak in. My skin feels amazing! After the product was fully soaked in, I sprayed my face with rose water and massaged my face with a jade roller. After that I moisturized my face with my Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer which has SPF 30.

Over all, I really enjoyed the mask and my skin feels so soft and moisturized. I enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend this for someone who just wanted to give their skin a boost. If you want to learn more about masking, there is a guide here on the blog you can check out [click here to see guide]. You can find The Up Side on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and TikTok. Thank you for reading, now go ahead and treat yourself to a mask.
