My Essential Oils Journey: Part Two

Hey guys! So not too long ago, I wrote about how I wanted to start using essential oils. Well, last week, Friday, I picked up 4 different kinds from TJ Maxx. The ones I got were lemon, lavender, rose, and jasmine. On Saturday, in the wee hours I might add, thanks anxiety induced insomnia *rolls eyes* I was up and alert, so I ordered a diffuser via Amazon and it came Tuesday. I was so excited to open up the package and learn how to use it!

I diffused oil for the first time tonight. Here’s how it went. I already opened the diffuser, so it was ready to go! I took off the top part of the device and also took off the lid to the container inside. After that I put a few drops in to the water I measured after I poured it in the diffuser and plugged it in. I used lavender oil and it is so relaxing, I loved it! The smell wafted through my whole bedroom! It was so cool watching the steam rise up from the diffuser. That was fantastic! Since I filled the water up to max level, it lasted about 6 hours.

I really did benefit from my diffuser being a humidifier. Quick tip, when you are looking at buying a diffuser, look for one that is also a humidifier. That kills two birds with one stone and oh man humidifiers are amazing! I forgot about that, I haven’t had one since childhood.

Thank you for reading and I hope you come back for more! If you missed it, you can read the first part of my oil journey here!
